You can definitely go for lateral entry programs in engineering and get direct admission to 2nd year in B.Tech. Most of the universities are offering lateral entry program. You can select a good university and contact them for further details. Also you need to provide your mark sheet before

It'll be a little difficult to say anything about VIT because last year around 4,720 students were offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20

Don't worry if you didn't got good marks in JEE mains,there are many premier colleges where you can get admission by availing high scholarship.Chandigarh university is good but there are some institutes that are doing much better.along with good education they provide platform where one can implemen

Getting a college is hard after scoring not so well in mains .but if are sc/st there is hope for.wait till official jee mains rank is not declared they might call u for councelling if u are sc/st.
