The admission portal for BTech courses at SRMCEM Lucknow started around February 2025. Moreover, the deadlines to apply for UPTAC counselling process are usually in the mid- to last week of July. The deadlines to apply for BTech courses are not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the college. However, candidates must track the entrance examination and counselling dates.

The selection process for BTech courses at SRMCEM Lucknow includes entrance-examination scores, followed by a counselling process. Before this, applicants are required to complete the primary eligibility criteria, which requires applicants to complete their Class 12 from PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). The names of the accepted entrance exams are CUET UG/ JEE Mains.

Yes, SRMCEM Lucknow does offers BTech courses for the duration of four years, and they are offered in full-time mode. The college also offers BTech Lateral Entry admission to some of the offered specialisations. The minimum eligibility requirements for admissions to BTech courses are that applicants must complete their Class 12 from PCM with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). The college offers several specialisations in BTech courses.

With an EWS rank of 111966 in JEE Main, it's tough to get CSE in pinnacle NITs or IIITs.
But you still have possibilities in some lower-ranked NITs, GFTIs, or country colleges.
You can attempt for colleges like:
NIT Arunachal Pradesh
NIT Mizoram
GGU Bilaspur
Assam University
State government colleges through counselling
You may get IT or different similar branches instead of middle CSE.
Use EWS quota and strive spot rounds to increase your probabilities.

Techno Main Salt Lake is a good option in case of direct B.Tech admission in Kolkata that guarantees good placement and the fee is less than 5 lakhs. It provides good pay scales with an average salary of INR 7.5 LPA and an overall fee of INR 4.01 Lakhs. Other institutes that offer reasonable fees and placement are CIEM Kolkata ( approximately INR 3.66 Lakhs total fee) and BPPIMT Kolkata ( approximately INR 3.92 Lakhs total fee) though their average packages may remain a bit lower. Always ensure that one is in touch with the most up-to-date statistics of placement and the admission requirements with the colleges.
