Considering the IIT Delhi JEE Advanced Round 2 closing ranks for the General AI category students, B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering experienced a significant increase of +101 ranks in its closing rank from 2023 to 2025. The second largest rise in the closing rank was +94 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. The rise in the cutoff ranks indicates that the cutoff ranks for these branches have comparatively more relaxed cutoff ranks in 2025 as compared to those of 2023. Eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology, you need to have passed 10+2 (HSC) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Vocational subject. To be eligible for a B.E./B.Tech at S.G.Balekundri Institute Of Technology (SGBIT), candidates generally need to have passed their 2nd PUC/12th standard or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics as an optional subject. A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects is usually required for the general category.
