The final placement report 2023 is yet to be released. Once it is out, the total number of BTech students placed in 2023 placement will be updated here. However, as the NIRF report 2023, 1,621 BTech students were placed out of total 2,058 students during Amrita School of Engineering BTech placements 2022. Earlier, in 2021, 1,671 students were placed out of total 2,265 students. Going back to 2020 placements, 1,569 students were placed out of total 2,101 students.

The application fees for the Amrita School of Engineering Amritapuri BTech programme depend on which entrance examination has been selected by the candidate for admission. Candidates who wish to apply with a JEE Main score are required to pay only INR 500. Those who wish to apply and appear for the AEEE exam are required to pay an application fee of INR 1,200.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is well known for its placements. In 2023, the average package for tech branches was about 19.6 lacs per annum, and for circuital and other branches, it was around 11-12 lacs per annum with a total average placement rate of 82 percent. The B.Tech placement in 2018-19 stood at 96.3%, 2019-20 stood at 77.9%, and 2020-21 stood at 72.9% across a total of 300+ industries, while over 100 drives were carried out virtually for outgoing batches of 2019-20 and 2020-21 only in the lockdown period.

Apex University is an outstanding institution not only in academics but also in placement opportunities. During the 2023 placement season, more than 70 percent of students of Apex University were placed. Average package is 4 LPA per student. For the first time, a student got as much as 20 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. This year, top recruitment companies included TCS, Cognizant, Wipro and Hero Honda.

The tuition fee amount for BTech courses at both the universities is almost the same. HBTU Kanpur BTech tuition fee amount is INR 3 lakh. While BTech at CSJMU cost range from INR 3.6 Lacs to INR 4.2 lakh. Hence, there isn't a big margin in the fee amount. The overall fee is also economical at both the universities. Students who are still confused about which university to choose can consider other factors, such as university ranking, student rating, and more.
