SEAS Ahmedabad University admission to BTech programme is entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on a valid JEE Main/ CUET UG score. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics, and additionally Chemistry (if applying for Chemical and Environmental Engineering) with at least 45% aggregate to meet the eligibility requirements of the programme.

DTU offers BTech which is a UG level programme of 4 year. This course is offered in 18 specialisations. The highest package offered for this course was INR 184 LPA in year 2022 and INR 82.05 LPA in year 2023. The average package offered was INR 24 LPA and INR 25.22 LPA in year 2022 and 2023 respectively. In total 1455 and 1499 students got placed in these years respectively. The admissions are entrance based and for admission the students shall also make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria as specified by the college for this course.

No, AKS University does not provide 100% scholarships to BTech students, rather, it provides semester scholarships that are in the range of INR 2,000 to INR 9,000 to meritorious students of AKS University BTech.
Along with semester scholarships, AKS University also recognises public scholarships for candidates who need financial aid to complete their education at the university. Some of these scholarships are Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji scholarship scheme, Pratibha Kiran scheme, etc.

As per Shiksha student reviews, AKS University hasn’t mentioned if there are offers from abroad for their students during the placement round but students are free to seek opportunities from abroad after doing BTech at AKS University.
As per Shiksha student reviews, the average salary package at the university was INR 7LPA with the highest package for BTech Mining being INR 5 LPA and for BTech Computer Science being INR 12 LPA in the year 2023. The companies that visit the campus regularly include, INFOSYS, TCS, Genpact, Cisco, IBM, Mankind, Cipla, Amazon, etc

Yes, candidates after completing their BTech from AKS University can apply for government jobs in civil services or look for government jobs in engineering. AKS University also offers engineering courses which are specifically curated to help students secure government jobs in public sector units. Yes, according to Shiksha student reviews, pursuing BTech at AKS University is safe. Shiksha students have mentioned that Guards and CCTV cameras are present everywhere throughout the campus and outsiders can’t enter the campus unchecked.
Shiksha student reviews also mention that there is a strict college policy on ragging and students can even be rusticated if proven guilty. The college is accessible and modes of transportation are available from the campus. All in all, AKS University is a safe campus to pursue BTech.

In the first few days, BTech freshers go through orientation into the BTech programme and their specialised courses. After that coursework for BTech starts where students are introduced to the various concepts essential for their BTech education.
In the first year, students are re-introduced to concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics they might have done in their Class 12 or Diploma to help them grasp these concepts in detail and use these concepts later in their engineering degree.
