There are various entrance exams in India that serve as an entry point for admission to the BTech Agricultural Engineering course that are conducted at the national, state, and university levels. Some of the popular ones include JEE Main, with 80 colleges accepting the exam score; TNEA Counselling after 12th, which is taken into consideration by more than 75 colleges in Tamil Nadu; ICAR AIEEA is accepted by more than 50 colleges, and CUET and MHT CET, which are considered by more than 25 BTech in Agriculture Engg. colleges.

The admission process for the BTech in Agricultural Engineering course can easily take around 3 to 5 months to complete. This is because every college adheres to their own admission guidelines that involve a lot of formalities, including entrance exams, college applications, results, merit cutoffs, college counseling, seat allotment, and fee payment.

SGT University has a total seat intake of 120 for the offered BTech programmes. Out of this, 25% of seats are reserved for students belonging to the state of Haryana. In addition, 10% of those are reserved for SC category candidates within Haryana. This reservation policy is based on Section 35 (3) of the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. The mentioned total seat count is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

There are a total of 30 seats for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake and performance in the selection rounds. It is within the rights of the university to revise its seat count. Moreover, the mentioned seat count is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. No, as per the available information on the K J Somaiya School of Engineering official website, the BTech application fee is non-refundable/non-transferable. Additionally, the application fee for the BTech programme is INR 2,000. Candidates must pay this one-time fee at the time of submitting the application form to complete the application process.
