Yes, you must take the MHT-CET entrance exam to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech. in Textile Technology programme at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) in Mumbai, even if you have a Diploma in Fashion Design:

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech. programme at VJTI, you must have passed class 12 or SSC or a Diploma in engineering with at least 45% aggregate.

The last year's 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Textile Technology at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology other than General category are - 84768 for OBC, 157381 for SC, 269198 for ST, 81788 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
