Since your CUET score is 340 out of 800, you can easily get into several UG courses, though for good universities the admission will be competitive. With a score of 340, you could easily get admission to Central University of Punjab, Central University of Rajasthan or Central University of Kerala. Allied courses can also be looked at. Cutoffs also differ according to the course, university, and category. Class 12 board marks are considered by some universities for tie-breaking. Targeting universities with a bit lower cut-offs and applying to several universities can improve your chances.

You, stand a good chance of getting into an MBBS programme at semi-government medical schools which frequently have lower tuition costs than private ones if your NEET UG 2024 score is 540. Every year the number of candidates, seat availability and the category bookings all affect the admission cutoffs. For example, there are particular cutoffs for state quota seats at semi-government medical colleges in Karnataka. Having scored 135 in NEET UG 2024, the chances of admission to a government medical college are very slim, as the cutoff for general students is generally above this score. There could be a chance in private medical colleges or under management quota, if the cutoff for the college and your category (e.g., SC/ST/OBC) is favorable. You can also look at other healthcare courses or allied health Science courses. It's best to verify particular college cutoffs, as they may differ. You can also look into possibilities of reappearing in NEET next year with better preparation.
