UG admissions to University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha are open for KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) examination qualifiers only and on the basis of cutoff marks. The admission criteria for the undergraduate courses is 12th pass together with 50% in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. For admission into PG courses, the candidates have to produce their B.Tech/B.E degree and clear GATE or the university test, as the case maybe.

The minimum qualification to attend counselling and get into Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology, for the purpose of UG courses is 10+2 with Science stream and mathematics, and the candidate should have scored not less than 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics put together.
