For admission in Munnar Catering College for UG/PG courses, candidates  need to qualify for the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam for B.Sc. courses. For Diploma and Integrated courses, admission is usually merit-based after passing 10th and 10+2 . The college also offers Graduate Diploma in International Hotel Management and Tourism, and a Higher Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management, in which selection is based on 10+2 results and potentially an entrance test or interview.

For MBBS, candidates must clear NEET UG, having passed 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and be 17 by year-end. For MD/MS, a NEET PG qualification is mandatory, along with an MBBS degree from an MCI/NMC-recognized university and completion of a compulsory rotating internship. To get an idea about the expected NEET UG cutoff at BFUHS for 2025, candidates must check the cutoff of the previous year and how competitive it gets. Check out the NEET UG closing rank 4 cutoffs in the past three prior years; refer to the below table:

NEET Round 4 Closing Rank (General-All India)
Course202220232024
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)179482121716056

Therefore, one can evaluate that cutoff competition exceeds in the year 2024 compared to 2023. Hence, for this year too, the cutoff can be striking.

Yes, NEET UG is compulsory to get admission to the MBBS course at BFUHS. Moreover, to get admission into the MBBS course at BFUHS-affiliated colleges, NEET UG is compulsory, followed by a counseling process. Candidates can apply for the counselling process once they get their NEET UG result and ranks. Further, applicants need to apply through the official BFUHS NEET UG counselling portal.
