A paid seat is basically for those students whose marks scored on the entrance test are slightly lesser than the cutoff list. The process of admission for both regular and paid seats is the same. After conducting the entrance exam, BHU releases the cutoff scores of all the courses offered in BHU Varanasi. Around 10 seats in all courses are reserved as paid seats I. e. seats with some extra fee. Paid seat is available for both main campus and affiliated colleges.
