Well, in my knowledge, for Karnataka colleges you need to take COMEDK since you are from outside of Karnataka. Also, management quota might not require any particular entrance exam though. Otherwise, the local entrance exam is KCET.

The possibility of getting a seat varies depending on vacancy, which course etc. Start the discussions early on, is my opinion.
