Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

Who is a dependant of Armed Forces Personnel? The student should be son/daughter of a serving Defense Personnel or Ex- Servicemen. The term defence Personnel from Army, Navy, and Air Force who fall in the category of Ex-Servicemen are laid down in the letter of ministry of Defence letter No. 36034/5/85 Estt (SCT) dated April 14,1987. A student having any of the following disabilities with minimum 40% of damages can claim admissions under this category. A certificate issued by a Medical Superintendent/ Civil Surgeon of a Government hospital has to be submitted in this regard. It would be a little difficult relative to others but not impossible. To get into MBA 10th, 12th and bachelors are considered. Finally, the CAT score plays the most important role. Also, depending on the college the rules changes on what weightage is given to which section. You may do a little research on the colleges you aim for and apply by taking educated decision. For example for MBA in IIT Delhi you need to have good score throughout and in CAT. But I am sure there are other colleges which give more importance to other things like extra curricular activities. Find out more about the eligibility criteria for prospective college and then decides what's best for you. BBA or B.Com is again completely on you. Its better though to do B.Com as you would have good finance knowledge and may choose a career in that field.
