BA Economics if opted from a good college like St. Xavier's College-Mumbai or some DU college has much wider scope than BA. But if you did not get in top colleges then it is advisable to do BBA since it is a technical and professional course and has a higher value of its degree than any of the low BA colleges.

The eligibility criteria required for applying to BBA course in India are:
The candidates applying for BBA programme should be Class XII passed or have an equivalent high school degree. Minimum age of applicants should be 17 years while maximum age limit is 22 years. They should have secured a minimum of 40% in Class XII or its equivalent. English should be one of the subjects studied in Class XII or its equivalent.
Documents required while submitting application forms for BBA Programs:
Applicants are required to attach following documents with the application form- Mark sheet of Class X and XII, Birth certificate or School leaving cert

Yes, you can take admission in UBS for the global BBA + MBA integrated course in the second year, provided there are certain conditions followed. Firstly, you have done graduation from a recognised university and have to attain more than 60%. Also, you must be having a degree regarding the same. If not, you cannot take admission for such degree.
