You can opt for IB in class 11th as per your interest. But, it isn't compulsory.
In my opinion, pursuing BBA through distance mode isn't a wise choice. There are good colleges in the country that offer BBA through regular mode with lucrative packages and you should aim for that after your class

Polytechnic is after 10th and BBA is after 12th. So, if you have started Diploma after 12th then only you have some chance of shifting to BBA. But, what is your passion? You are in the 1st semester of Diploma. Think, meditate, discuss with your parents/ teachers and then decide.
