Yes, there is negative marking in the BCECE exam. One mark is deducted for each wrong answer. For each correct answer, four marks are given. Each subject paper contains 100 questions. Full marks for BCECE exam 400.

The BCECE is conducted through offline mode (pen-and-paper-based). The BCECE 2026 question paper will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions with four answer options per question. Answers have to be marked on the OMR sheet with blue or black ballpoint pen.

To prepare for BCECE exam students first need to complete class 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. After that read the syllabus from standard books. One must solve previous year question papers while following a strict time table. At last on must solve question paper as per real time basis.

To apply for BCECE 2026, candidates have to visit the official website of the exam. The process for online application is given below.

  • Registration
  • Login with the Application or User ID and password
  • Fill up necessary details
  • Upload documents
  • Pay the fee in online mode.
  • Download the application confirmation page.

The application fee has to be paid in online mode only. The modes include Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking and UPI.

The BCECEB conducts the BCECE exam once a year. Therefore, a candidate can appear for the exam once in a particular academic year. However, if any candidate wishes to appear for the exam for another attempt after the previous year attempt, he/she is allowed to fill the BCECE application form which is available from April 9, 2025 onwards.

The BCECE exam notification was released by the BCECEB on April 8, 2025. The notification was released on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. It informed candidates about the important exam event dates, application process, and related details. The BCECE exam registration for the nursing programme began on April 9, 2025.
