No, the exam authorities do not release the BCECE response sheets. Response sheets refer to the scanned copies of candidates' OMR sheets, which they submitted on the exam day. In case the BCECE 2026 answer keys or response sheets are released, the information will be provided here.

Candidates can submit objections or challenges against the BCECE answer keys if released officially. Since BCECEB does not release the BCECE answer keys officially, there is no scope of submitting objections or challenges.

No, candidates need not submit the BCECE question paper before leaving the centre. Since it is a paper-pencil based test, they are allowed to take the question paper with them. They have to submit the OMR sheets with answers properly marked on it.

The BCECE exam is conducted in approximately 40 cities in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. Since it is a state level exam, the centres are not located across India.

The BCECE syllabus is released by the exam authorities Bihar Common Entrance Exam Board, or BCECEB in the information bulletin. You can find the subject-wise syllabus for each paper of the BCECE exam from there. You can also download it from this page of Shiksha.

The marking scheme of the BCECE is explained below.
- Each paper will carry 100 questions and there will be four marks per question
- In case of wrong attempts, one mark will be deducted per incorrect answer
- The total marks for each paper will be taken out on the basis of correct attempts by candidates minus negative marking for incorrect attempts.

The BCECE 2026 application process is online. Candidates have to visit the official website of the exam to fill and submit the BCECE application form. The application fee has to be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI modes.

There is no upper age limit to apply or appear for the BCECE exam. Candidates should have passed the Class 12 Board exam or equivalent in the Science stream. They should also fulfil the rest of the eligibility factors.
