The university has not released an official placements report yet. However, as per the NIRF report 2022, a total of 823 UG/PG students were placed in 2021 placements. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) students were INR 2.40 LPA and INR 6.40 LPA, respectively. Yes, the university offers the UG course in a full-time mode. It is offered by more than 60 Bharathiar University-affiliated colleges. Some of the affiliated colleges offering BA course are enlisted below:

The total tuition fee for the three-year BA course ranges between INR 1,380 – INR 3.6 lakh. This given fee is calculated as per the data available on unofficial sources and hence is indicative. Candidates have to pay some amount from the total fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat. The mode of payment accepted can be confirmed by the university. The minimum eligibility requirement for BA course admission is a class 12 or equivalent examination pass with a qualifying percentage. Candidates further must have been awarded the UG degree by a recognised board. The university also shortlists candidates for selection based on aggregate in Class 12/or equivalent exams. Further, aspirants must have the pass certificate at the time of form filling and admission for verification.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MSc. The application process is online. Admission to the PG course is both entrance and merit-based. For 15 specialisations, the admission is merit-based and for the other 11, admission is through the in-house entrance exam. In addition, the seat intake and fee for each of the MSc specialisations can vary.

Yes, the university is offering a three-year BSc course (blended) with the University of Melbourne, Australia. Candidates can apply by visiting the university website (b-u.ac.in).
