A "safe score" for BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) in NEET 2025 varies depending on the category and desired college. Generally, for general category students, a score between 500 and 550 out of 720 is considered a good score for government colleges. For reserved categories (OBC, SC, ST), a score around 400-450 could be sufficient. Private colleges may have lower cutoffs, potentially accepting scores from 300 and above.

There isn't a universal rule regarding bonds for BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) courses in India. The penalty for leaving a BHMS seat after one year would depend on the specific terms of that bond , which would be detailed in the agreement you signed with the college.

Yes. With comparatively low scores in NEET, you can secure a BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) seat, more so, you are either reserved or planning to apply in private colleges. The 50 th percentile, or the NEET-qualifying marks in the general category are approximately 144 out of 720 (NSE 2025), whereas in the case of the OBC/SC/ST categories, it is 40 th percentile or 113 marks. Though in the government colleges that are pinnacle, higher marks in NEET are needed, but in the private BHMS colleges, not only are the 150+ Neet scores acceptable but sometimes they can even be as low as 150-300.

For Govt BHMS seats, aim for 430–480+ marks in NEET (480+ for top colleges). For private colleges, 300–400 might do the trick. If you're Gen category, stay above 162 to clear the general cutoff. For SC/ST/OBC, it's slightly lower. Bottom line: if you're eyeing government colleges, push for 450+. And always double-check your state's the latest counseling info—cutoffs shift every year.

No, you cannot pursue BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) after 12th Arts. BHMS requires students to have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and to qualify the NEET-UG exam.
To become a licensed homeopathy practitioner, you'll need to switch to the Science stream and meet NEET eligibility criteria.
