The best course offered at the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics is MBA. There are other courses too but as per my opinion its MBA/PGDM.
The basic Eligibility for MBA: Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%
Selection criteria : MAT,CAT,XAT,GMAT etc

While the official website of D.Y. Patil University's School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics states that there are Merit-based Scholarships.The university website mentions a Dr. P. D. Patil Merit Scholarship for the B.Tech. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science undergraduate degree programme offered by the Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute (DYPBBI).

The B.Tech Bioinformatics of Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research has an intake capacity of 60 students per year. This means that only 60 students can enroll in this course every year, based on their performance in entrance exams like V-SAT, EAMCET and JEE.

yes you can join DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (DPBI)
but it also depends on your percentile and availabilty of vacant seats for the program, yours 10th and 12th percentile are taken into consideration and also the entrance exam scores
the programs like biotech, bioinformatics and data science, food science, biomedical eng are some direct admission programs

the highest package offered at DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics is INR 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was INR 2 LPA. the palcement rate of 2022 batch was aroud 95%. all the best

Before considering the question for this particular college let me tell you in a general way that life in college would never be easy, also it depends on how you look into the things. It all depends on what your interests are and your goals from the college. DY Patil College located in Navi Mumbai is really good college and the life would also be really nice, you will have new experiences, meet lot of new people, come across so many things and also learn a lot. Just concentrate on your goals and work hard.
