Biomedical Engineering has better scope than biotechnology. In Biotechnology, there is only research field available and biomedical you can. Go for research, manufacturing and there are lots of companies available in this field. To make a career in Biotechnology, you have do lots of hard work.

Automobile versus biotechnology: interesting question. You see, what is going to happen from today is crystal gazing. We should not indulge in this. Actually, both are good paying. Automobile is a perpetual industry & biotechnology is sunrise stream. I advise you to opt depending on your love for biology.

If you have done biotechnology plus LLB then you can join research firms, agriculture or fertilisers industry in which you can work as a legal consultant. This is a rare combination of specialisation you have.
