If you are getting admission in the desired college and engineering branch, then there is no need to drop this year. Although, if you think you can do better next time, then you can opt for the drop.

It depends upon your interest Siraj. Otherwise both are good in their own terms. However Biotechnology is a new field as far as India is concerened and therefore the opportunities in it would take some time to grow but would grow surely. Agriculture field has its limitations and you need to excel in its finer technicalities to be able to have a good career in it, which will be mostly rural based.
