Yes, BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) students can join UIET Kurukshetra (KUK) for Biotechnology, but not through JEE Main rank. Here's the distinction:
Admission Pathways at UIET Kurukshetra
B.Tech (CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, IT):
- Admission strictly via JEE Main + HSTES/JoSAA counseling.
- Requires PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in Class 12.
- BiPC students are not eligible for these engineering branches.
B.Tech Biotechnology:
- Admission is possible for BiPC students (PCB stream).
- Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics.
- Admission usually through HSTES counseling (state quota) or university-level

With this rank, it is difficult to get top NITs like Rourkela, Warangal, or Durgapur, especially for General or OBC candidates. However, you still have chances at NIT Jalandhar (for M.Sc. Life Sciences or related courses), NIT Manipur, and NIT Sikkim through later rounds of CCMN counselling, as Life Sciences seats are easier to get than pure Biotechnology. If you belong to the SC or ST category, your chances are better, and you can aim for NIT Rourkela, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jalandhar, or IIIT Allahabad in related fields.

The Heritage Institute of Technology's B.Tech Biotechnology programme admits students with a 20025 rank based on the variable cut-off ranks for that year. Generally speaking, elements including the volume of applications, entrance exam difficulty, and seat availability affect the cut-off ranks for admission. To acquire a precise estimate of your possibilities with a 20025 rank, it is best to look up the cut-off ranks from the prior year or get in touch with the institute's admission office immediately.
