The use of biotechnology is expanding to various scientific fields such as SEED technology, agriculture, cell Biology virology, immunology, plant physiology, etc. But both the fields are interrelated and mainly bioinformatics is dependent on biotechnology.

Chandigarh university gives a very nice placement after B.Sc. Biotechnology. The college is NAAC A+ and north India's best private college for infrastructure and placements. Placements: Approximately 40% of the students got an offer letter from Indian companies, including graduates and post-graduates.
