To get admission in biotechnology you need to appear for the engineering entrance exams for which you need mathematics paper. At the same time, biology is also required for biotechnology. Therefore, you can take PCM and biology as the extra subject.

Yes, there are institutes and universities that offer Integrated UG-PG 5 year's course in Biotechnology. Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidayalaya in Bilaspur
Banaras Hindu University
Calcutta University
All other Central and State Universities do offer 5 years course for the same.

B.Pharma is better on the basis of scope. B.Pharma is four years programme after completing class 12th Science.

That is tricky. I believe in that case, what more matter is your best 4 subject's. If your marks are sufficient in the best 4, you may be considered for admission. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

The UG applications are available in VIT official portal www.vit.ac.in, fill out the application form and wait for the management to schedule you a counselling date which will be informed to you through the mail.

I am sorry, but you won't be able to get a seat in VIT Vellore at 48k rank. I would suggest you to start considering other colleges. I hope this helps.
