The subjects differ from one institute to the other and the course type such as B.Sc and B.Tech. Some of the common subjects are:
1) Biological chemistry
2) Cell biology and genetics
3) Bio energetics and bio membranes
4) Animal and plant physiology
5) Molecular biology
6) Animal and plant biotechnology
7) Industrial and environmental biotechnology
