Yes, M.Sc in biotechnology will be a good option for you to go in the research fields. You can go for Ph.D. in the same and select your career as a scientist officer.

Yes, you will easily get the admission. 81% is a good score and if you belong to SC/ST/OBC then you can get some scholarship too.

You should purchase the previous year's problems and sample papers from your nearby market. These books contains both questions as well as solutions and explanations. Therefore, it will be very helpful for you. Solve these books thoroughly and you will get a good score.

Hi Shruti,
To get admission in Heritage, you can go either for WBJEE or JEE mains. They accept the score of both the entrance. However, if you have not appeared in any of these exams, then you can get admission through management quota directly. The eligibility criteria is 60 percent marks in class 12th board and pass in all the subjects for biotechnology.

No, mathematics is not compulsory for biotechnology. The knowledge of biology and chemistry will be sufficient for this course. Although in the first three semesters, you will have to study biology as one of the subjects. But don't worry, that will be taught in the classroom. Best of luck.
