Admission Process for this course varies across institutes. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams and some select the students on basis of their graduation scores, etc. Kindly specify the university or college name you desire for.

The compulsory subjects for Integrated M.Sc Biotechnology program in +2 are Biology/Biotech, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics. The subject considered for aggregate calculation are Physics + Chemistry + Biology/Biotech + Mathematics.
The marks requirement for Application: Agg 60%, Biology 60% & Chemistry 60%.
The selection will be based on an index calculated with the board marks in +2 level, and the index calculation will be made as followed AGG% + BIO% + CHEM% (OUT OF 300).

Biotechnology will have lots of scope and opportunities in the coming years, it is an emerging branch for the students who are interested in Biology and cannot afford a doctor's degree. It will have a duration of four years like any other branch of engineering. But, I would suggest you to do it from any good and reputed institute, as that will also matter a lot.
All the best.
