For B.Tech biotechnology, you need to have your intermediate degree with one subject as biology. Also, you need to have 60% marks in both matric and intermediate.

Eligibility graduates from a recognised college with a minimum cut off percentage preferably in Science stream. There is usually no age limit to join the course. Admission Process An admission test is carried out for granting admission to the students. Only those students who pass in this entrance test will be given admission. B.Tech in biotechnology includes practical and application based approach towards biotechnology and genetic engineering which involves living organisms and biological processes in engineering. It deals in development of new technology in medical Science, medicine, and other fields which require bio products. According to me, biotechnology is better.
