Yes, maths is a very important subject for biotechnology and you also need to study mathematics even in your biotechnology. But remember to cross check it from your institutes as they may have different rules.

Yes, biotechnology requires maths and I think you will study a subject as mathematics in biotechnology. But still clear it from the institute.

Yes, you can do. Since you studied biology in plus two. But Since you have done B.Tech think twice before you seek admission. But if you think nursing / health is your field then go for it.
Best wishes!

Frankly telling, it really doesn't matter much from where you've pursued your B.Sc. Degree. Not that one should totally ignore and take up admission in a college which doesn't even have basic infrastructure for providing quality education. But what I mean to say is, your Masters degree is more important and you should focus on your plans for pursuing Masters in Biotechnology (or M.Sc. Biotechnology) from a good university/ institute, later.

Hi!
Biotechnology is a research-oriented field in which a lot of areas are still to be explored. B.Sc. Graduates can opt for a career in technical writing, or go for M.Sc. And Ph.D. to pursue a career in research. With the worlds population to cross 9 billion before 2050, revolutionary reforms are needed in areas food production, medicine and, vaccine. The future rests largely on the shoulders of researchers and scientists in the field of Biotechnology.

Entrance syllabus will available from website once the forms are released. You can search on the internet for precious year question papers as university doesn't provide it on its website I believe.
Admission would be followed by entrance then GD and PI. Combined score will decide the admission. The forms will be out on Feb second week. And the entrance will be in June. So you should start preparing now. The entrance will not be that much difficult.
You can divide the syllabus accordingly and just devote your regular time. Cover topics which are known to you and excel in that. You can crack the entrance.
All the best! :)
