Hi,
In class 11th and class 12th, if you choose sciences, then yes mathematics is compulsory. If you choose engineering - biotechnology for example, common semesters do have Math as a subject.

Yes, you are eligible for Masters in food tech after a graduate degree in biosciences. There are many central universities offering such courses, Tezpur University is one of them.

The fee structure of M.Sc in biotechnology varies from college to college fees charged by state and Central University is comparatively cheaper than that of private University and college's fee structure is reputed institution such as Vellore institute of technology Amity institute lies between INR. 70,000 and INR. 80000 per year Government University charged around INR. 35000 per annum as total fees for this course.

To be honest, there is no such thing as a career in biotechnology after B.Sc Biotechnology. It is just a stepping stone to higher studies. Biotechnology is a highly research intensive field and hence there are not many opportunities after B.Sc Biotechnology. However, there are industries which take up B.Sc Biotechnology graduates for doing menial jobs in production and quality control as they can pay them less to work more.
