Yes u are. Bt if your doing your UG programme it is not that necessary of doing 6 month Intenship. Its fine if your doing pt programme . For UG 60 hrs is more than enough

If you're taking your 12th PCB and are looking for technology streams, there are still options available to you—particularly in Biotechnology. For government institutions, you may consider premier institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, and other NITs offering B.Tech in Biotechnology (though a lot of these do usually come with a PCM background, so do check their eligibility criteria). On the private front, the likes of VIT, SRM, Amity University, and Manipal University provide B.Tech Biotechnology courses, and some even may have B.Tech programs with a mixture of computer Science subjects.
