Biotechnology has better scope outside India. So, if you have interest in this principle rather do it from somewhere other than India (do research about it, if you're choosing a country). And you can be a Professor if you want to, by doing M.Sc. Ph.D. in zoology (for zoology).

Below are the entrance tests.
1. The Neotia University (TNU) - Conducts TNU entrance exam.
2. Written Test GATE
3. Amity University Kolkata, conducts their own entrance test hence eligible candidates need to appear for the English language test conducted by the university. There are few other entrance exams for integrated B.Sc. Plus M.Sc. Course.

Pursuing higher education can help secure better salary packages and also acquire more knowledge about the subject. If you have the mind of a scientist, then after pursuing Masters in Food Technology, you can also go for Ph.D in Food Technology and carry your research.

As per my knowledge and experience, if you have done B.Sc in biotechnology, then you must be eligible for M.Sc in Environmental Science. But, for the sake of security information, I would suggest you prefer University website or contact the university from the given contact number on it's website.
