Yes, VIT Bhopal does have biotech courses, but let me make one thing clear. this is newest campus of VIT, and last year, students got CSE below INR 1 lakh rank easily, and I think it is not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus, because fees structure is similar to VIT Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And, it's infrastructure is not fully completed, and still it is under development.

Yes, you can go for either. The percentage is less but that does not mean that you will not get any admission. There are many universities that can get you best education in Canada.

You have a high chance of getting biotechnology. Speaking of scope in India, it is limited only to research and one cannot hope to get placements like in CSE/IT. Also, one needs to do Masters in the field to be eligible for research in the field.
