Biomedical engineering: BME is a course which is basically electrical and electronics engineering and Instrumentation engineering concepts applied in medical field. All the instruments you see in hospitals are made and maintained by BME. So BME will mostly be working in hospitals or the instrumentation companies in R&D or other departments

Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for Biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does. Some prominent industries where Biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry and Research sector. Research sector in particular is quite lucrative. One may build a rewarding career in this field. Regards.

Follow the syllabus and exam pattern ofMU OET: If you don't want to engage yourself in a wild goose chase, follow the syllabus and exam pattern ofMU OET. Make apreparationstrategy: Decide which topics needs to be taken up first and on time allotment. Remember, you have to make extra time for the difficult topics.

I think 65 marks are enough for applying in Ajeenkya D Y Patil University School of Engineering. Though I must inform you that you will not get a BE degree here. You will get a B.Tech in biotechnology here with an option to specialise in either food or medical biotechnology. Fees will be 2 lakh INR per annum.
