Scope of Biotechnology is in genetically improving crops or livestock and also humans (mainly abroad). Biochemist can work with pharmaceutical, pathology labs. Biotechnology Science is more challenging one.

B.Sc. Biotechnology is better than B.Sc. Math because after B.Sc. Biotechnology you get a professional degree which is biotechnology and after that you can also apply for so many jobs. In mostly sector govt. as well as private too.

Yes, maths is necessary in 12th standard for IIT. As you are interested in Biotechnology, please search for institutions, which don't require maths as a subject.

MBA is possible as this will be required graduation in any stream. Your BioTech is accepted as a qualifying degree for the eligibility. But to do M.Com, you must be a B.Com. So, it is better and possible is MBA.
