As I pointed out above, this is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for Biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does.
Some prominent industries where Biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry and Research sector.

If you want to do B.Pharma, you can do it. You are eligible for this course. But, if you have already completed your graduation, then it is better to complete your qualification in Management.

You should definitely pursue M.Sc. I would suggest you to take admission in Masters without wasting time after your B.Sc, and then go for the preparation of CSIR-NET and GATE. CSIR NET happens twice a year and GATE once a year.

Hi Azra,
If you have chosen PCB in XIIth, then you can option for Bachelors degree like the B.Sc Biotechnology/ B.Sc Industrial biotechnology or B.Sc Medical biotechnology. Or if you have chosen PCMB, then you are eligible to pursue Engineering as Maths is an necessary subject for B.Tech Biotechnology / Environmental Biotechnology / Industrial Biotechnology / Medical biotechnology.
For pursuing B.Sc Biotechnology, you must qualify the entrance exam conducted by the Colleges. Here are the few :-
* Christ university Bangalore
* Jawaharlal Nehru University
* St Josephs college Bangalore
