M.Sc. Biotechnology Eligibility :
Students must know if they are eligible to study M.Sc. Biotechnology. Following are some of the M.Sc. Biotechnology eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the willing candidates:
The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in either Physics, Biological Sciences, food Science, nursing or pharmacy, BPT BMIT or in any other related discipline. The students must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in order to admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology. Students belonging from ST/SC/OBC can get admission for 45%. Students belonging to the final Year of their undergraduate course can apply as well. These students need to clear the final exam before the admission.

However, it would depend on the course type, like you are eligible for a Diploma in forensic Biology offered by Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu.

B.Sc. Biotechnology is a three-year undergraduate course that focuses on cellular and biomolecular processes. It aims to equip the learners with skills to alter the DNA of various living organisms. The admission process varies from college to college for this course and is both merit and entrance exam based. However, a candidate needs to have qualified 10+2 from any recognised board with Physics Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. There are various top colleges in Mumbai that offer this course. For some of them, you need to qualify for an entrance exam, and the cut-off depends on the number of applicants and the number of seats available.
