Hello,
Especially for B.Tech Biotechnology, you need to have the following skills to get a job offer:
1) You should have a good exposure to lab equipment and handling should be known with sound theoretical knowledge.
2) Should be able to apply for DBT (Department of Biotech, India) fellowship program in your fourth year starting itself. You will get a good exposure to handle all types of equipment under that fellowship. Where you will be sent to different biotech companies to get ready for a hands-on experience in labs.

I am sorry to say but admission in MNNIT is done through JEE Mains only. Also, the candidate should opt for PCM in class 12th.

Since you are from general category so there is a very less chance for you to get a seat in any government college. I would suggest you to look for admission in some private college which is good in placement also.
