B.Sc biotech makes you eligible at number of places for higher studies or for job in biotech industries. BPT specifically limits you to this field and it requires whole of patience as the job is quite demanding , but if you are passionate about it then there is nothing that can stop you. Both private and govt hospitals have not requirement and private sessions are also in demand , this specifically requires one to be compassionate towards others. See if you fit the bill.

Yes, all these are life sciences field and most of the colleges accept students from different fields in M.Sc courses. Before applying check eligibility as 1 in 10 colleges might have specific eligibility line allowing only a B.Sc microbiology to M.Sc microbiology. Major universities like DU MDU IP allows.

Hello Ayush,
MBA biotech is perhaps superspecialisation in management. However, with the government of India's aim of doubling farm income, I strongly believe that improvement in farm productivity is the main way. For this, biotechnology is the only answer.

Placements are not that great in terms of the kind of package or the companies that visit the campus. But mass recruiters like TCS visit every year and that way most students get placed. Of course some good companies like VM ware do vist and hire, but the number is less. I am writing about the statistics of 2014 since thats the time when I saw placements there. CS and information Science guys get better package compared to other branches (which is what happens in any college). So, if placements are the only concern prefer some Bangalore college. If you want peaceful life and less expenses then prefer Tumkur.
All the best
