Genetic Engineering is an part of biotechnology only. After B.Tech in Biotechnology, you can go for M.Tech in Genetic Engineering. B.Tech is also available in genetic engineering but in very few institutes.

Sorry to say as you don't have maths as a subject in class 12th, you will be eligible for very few colleges to pursue B.Tech biotechnology.
University like Jawaharlal Nehru University offers admissions for the students who did not have mathematics in 12th standard. Some universities consider Biology as a compulsory subject.

Automobile versus biotechnology: interesting question. You see, what is going to happen from today is crystal gazing. We should not indulge in this. Actually, both are good paying. Automobile is a perpetual industry & biotechnology is sunrise stream. I advise you to opt depending on your love for biology.
