As per the BIT Mesra BSc+MSc cutoff 2024, the closing rank for admission to Physics course was 113731 for the General All-India category. Comparing it to the last two years' cutoff, the closing rank presents a fluctuating trend. In 2023, the closing rank was 86934 and 123834 in 2022. Candidates can refer to this cutoff trend to understand their chances of getting admission at the institute.

Birla Institute of Technology prepares the cutoff list based on applicants JEE scores. It may also accept NEET scores for certain specialisations. As per the BIT Mesra BSc+MSc cutoff 2024, the most competitive specialisation was integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing. The closing rank was 54654 for the General-All India category. It was followed by quantitative economics and data Science with 76777 and 113731 for Physics.

The total course fee for the BIT Mesra BSc + MSc course is cumulative of multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. A candidate can confirm their seat only on payment of the course fees. At the time of admission, some fee amount has to be paid and then the fee can be paid annually/semesterly.

BIT Mesra course admission to the integrated BSc+MSc courses is entrance-based. The institute shortlist candidates based on their performance in JEE Main/NEET exam. In addition, the applicants must be fulfilling the course-specific eligibility requirements as well. The eligible students can visit the BIT Mesra official website to register and fill out the application form. A merit/cutoff list is then released by the institute. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria can apply for admission.

It is necessary that all the integrated BSc + MSc aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. The applications of only the eligible students is considered valid. Students who are Class 12 or equivalent examination pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for the integrated programme.
