Interested candidates for B.Tech admission at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category students) with PCM as compulsory subjects. The accepted exam is JEE Main, followed by UPSEE/UPTACT counselling for the final seat allocation process.

In order to get admission into BTech programme of IIT (BHU), a candidate should have passed Class12 with a minimum of 75 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They have to as well pass the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. Selection and JoSAA counselling is done by JEE Advanced rank. Counselling is only an option to those who meet all the criteria.

The primary eligibility requirements for admissions to BTech courses at HIMT Chennai are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels.
