btech Eligibility

To apply for KIET, candidates must meet minimum eligibility criteria. They must have qualified 10+2 with 55-60% aggregate in PCM and minimum 45% in each individual subject.

Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at DSCE, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed or equivalent with 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as compulsory subject. 

NO — you are NOT eligible for lateral entry (direct 2nd year) in ICT Mumbai.

• ICT Mumbai does NOT offer lateral entry admission into B.Tech programs (including Food Engineering).

• Even if you have a Diploma in Food Technology (like from Parul University), you cannot directly join 2nd year B.Tech there.

• Admission is only through:

  • JEE Main

  • or MHT CET

• You must apply for first-year B.Tech, not lateral entry.

To get admission in Army Institute of Technology, Pune students must get  the eligibility. Students must pass Class 12 with the aggregate of 45% in relevant subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Maths

For getting admission to a BTech course at JSPM University, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% (40% for the reserved category) and must clear entrance exams like JEE/MHT CET/PERA CET. Candidates need to score valid marks in entrance exams and fill out the application form from the official page of university.   

NIT Raipur offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at NIT Raipur, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed with a minimum 75% aggregate. 

The basic eligibility criteria for the BTech programme at AISSMS College of Engineering is 45% in Class 12th & the accepted entrance tests are  MHT CET,  JEE Main.

NIT Srinagar offers BTech across several specialisations. The duration for BTech at NIT Srinagar is 4 years. The eligibility for BTech courses at NIT Srinagar is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75% in any stream from any recognised state or national board, along with a valid score in JEE Main.

Students must have completed their 12^th with 45% to apply for BTech at Sikkim Manipal University. MET, SMIT online test and JEE Main are the accepted exams for BTech admissions at the SMU Gangtok. It is important that the students fulfil the criteria before applying at any course.

Christ University Kengeri Campus offers BTech at the UG level for the duration of 4 years. BTech programme is given in streams like Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, etc. Students need to pass class 12 exam with minimum of 50% in Science stream. Students who have successfully completed the 3 year Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.
