Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility and appeared for JEE Main/GUJCET exam can apply by filling out the admission form. The application form can be filled out via online mode on the official website of the university. Candidates must enter all the details correctly in the application. The university contact the students as per the shared details only.
After application submission, a cutoff list is released and students who meet the cutoff marks become eligible for participation in the counselling. Students are granted seats based on merit in the entrance test and academics. The seat allotment is finally done through ACPC counsel

The NITK Surathkal BTech programme accepts students based on their JEE Main score and JoSAA Counselling. MAKAUT is a private college. It was established in 1956. It is ranked 26th under the engineering category according to NIRF 2023. For taking admission in MAKAUT JEE Mains is taken by the candidate and the admission is based on the merit list released by the college. The Cut offf for taking admission in the NIT Surathkal falls under 1055784 for general category and cutt off for SC/ST Category is around 114000, and for OBC Category it falls under 112000.
