Candidates must have passed a Class 12 pass from a recognised board in the Science stream with at least five subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for candidates from reserved categories) or be in the top 20 percentile in the Class 12 exams administered by the relevant boards in order to be eligible for admission to the B Tech programme at NIT Rourkela. In 14 specialisations, the institute provides BTech programmes. BTech programmes in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer Science and engineering, etc. are a few of these specialisations. JEE Main score is the basis for admission to NIT Rourkela BTech programme

Although they differ slightly in their areas of emphasis, B.E. and B.Tech degrees both equip you for engineering employment.
- B.Tech places more emphasis on industrial preparation and practical skills.
- B.E. leans more towards theory and research.
- Select B.E. for prospective future research and a solid theoretical foundation.
- Select a B.Tech degree to gain practical experience and enter the workforce more quickly.
- Both are related to engineering and are equivalent.

An applicant requires atleast an aggregate of 60% in 12th class (Any board affiliated from CBSE) in four subjects: Mathematics, Physics, English and one extra subject (Chemistry, Biology or Technical Vocational Subjects). For IB students a minimum score of 24 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology is required. For Cambridge/IGCSE examinations Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry at the A Level and English at AS Level. I would rather suggest to go for you next attempt because with CRL 5,00,000 in JEE Mains you would not be able to get CSE in any NIT or iiit. You can go for private college or counseling of other private organizations.

No, you cannot get admission to any NIT for B Tech CSE with a rank of 205220 in JEE Mains.
As per the information available, a score above 200 in JEE Main is equivalent to a 99+ percentile and is generally required to get a rank below 5000 for admission to top NITs.

Hi, There are high chances that you will get admission in PES University for course like B.Tech in Biotechnology, B.Tech in Electronics and communication Engineering and B.Tech in Mechanical engineering. According to last year report the last rank to get admission in B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering was 21166. This year rank will vary based on number of applicants and seats available in different courses.
