There are a total of 899 seats for BTech courses at NIT Srinagar. Each of the course specialisation has different seat intake. The highest number of seat count is for BTech in Civil Engineering - 183, followed by Mechanical Engineering - 117, and Electrical Engineering - 113. Students are admitted to the offered BTech programmes in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. It must be noted that the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is however subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

No, you can't join Kazi Nazrul University directly. The admission for the various courses of the Kazi Nazrul University is either merit based or entrance exam performance based. The admission procedure is different for different procedures.  The admission into BE/BTech course is based on the candidate's rank in the WBJEE entrance exam. The candidates are admitted to PhD courses through an entrance exam which is followed by a personal interview. Also, the candidates must regularly check the official university website to remain updated with any changes made in the admission procedure.

For these programs, placements are generally better for postgraduate (M.Sc.) students compared to undergraduate (B.Sc. Hons.) students. The median salary offered is also higher for M.Sc. graduates.

The highest package offered at Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun for a B.Tech student is INR 84.88 LPA. At Graphic Era placements 2023, the maximum package offered was INR 84.88 LPA. This package was made available to BTech CSE branch students by Atlassian.
