For B.Tech admissions at Mahindra University, Hyderabad you need to have a competitive score in JEE (Mains) and should be eligible to write JEE (Advanced) or you should have Top All India Rank in JEE (Mains). Besides that, a candidate is eligible to enroll for B.Tech. courses if they have at least 60 % or above in class 10^th from a recognised board/ university. If a student could not sit for JEE/ SAT/ ACT, they are still eligible for admission if they have 80% or above marks in class 12^th.

Candidates must complete Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for the BTech course or passed Diploma exam with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. 

The selection to BTech course is based on JEE Main or NIMSEE score. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection at the later stages of admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Yes, BTech is a four-year course offered in 23 specialisations, namely Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Chemical, etc. The university offers BTech through NIMS Institute of Engineering & Technology at the UG level. Candidates can apply after completing Class 12 in relevant disciplines. 

The University has released the combined statistics for UG (4 years) courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech/ BPharma students during University of Kashmir placements 2022 was NR 6 LPA. In 2021, the median package was the same, i.e. INR 6 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2020 placements was INR 5 LPA.

The total course fee of the BTech programme of HKBKCE is Rs 4,25,000.
