Faculty and infrastructure are world class anyway at VJTI with some industry heads and gurus for guest lectures. VJTI is heritage and legacy brand and holds high esteem in rankings. Mechanic engineering has attracted nearly best placements. Average Package is 6 LPA. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 26LPA. The drawback faced is very few core companies participating here. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, Lodha Developers, Runwal group, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge etc. A lot more recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 30 LPA. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average. CSE is among the top 5 in India. Following is the list of recruiters coming on campus for placements:
Flow traders- 80 Lacs
Uber - 40 Lacs
Nutanix - 40 LPA
Goldman Sachs- 31 Lacs
App Dynamic - 30 Lacs
Myntra and Amazon - 29 Lacs
Apart from placements, there are opportunities in terms of scholarships from foreign universities through collaborations too.

Delhi Technological University is a reputed institute and is also popular among the people. Coming to the infrastructure, the Department has 11 well-equipped curriculum laboratories and 4 research laboratories. There are separate departmental project laboratories. Now, there are two aspects to this question, which is the branch in which you want to pursue your undergraduate degree and then the college from where you want to pursue that programme from. 1. Infrastructure of Birla Institute of Technology is much better than infrastructure of Delhi Technological University.

In an open or distance learning university, a student has choice of selecting any branch. However a word of caution. UGC has not allowed any professional courses to be run via distance education. Hence I would like to caution you before you take the plunge into admission for graduation in engineering via distance learning. Best wishes.
