It depends on you to say good or bad .
Based on faculty its good based on teaching its good based on the environment the communities the activities and other criteria like sports and all its good.
It has some issue with cost and living but thats manageable if you are thinking of getting admission. Also bhubaneshwar geographical details needs to be considered to make sure its good or not for you to be perfect suit so check and consider.

Applicants must have passed the 10+2 board examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Beside that it mainly depends on the first come first serve where the students applying prior are given more priorities and have got better chance of getting admission into the college and getting seat over here so consider this factor while applying to the college.

PRIST has a department for training and placement separately, and students are trained on how to face the placements.
PRIST offers the students a very wide range of specializations suiting any kind of interest.
Cons

PRIST University does not have a good placement record. Although the college is a Tier 2 college, they are not that promising.
Scope Services, CITI Finance, ABN AMRO Group, Citicorp Finance India Ltd., Bajaj Auto, Delphi-TVS Diesel Systems Ltd., and more were the top companies recruiting from the university.
The median salary package provided by the university is INR 3.65 LPA.

At PRIST University, getting into their B.Tech program doesn't always mean you have to tackle the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam hoop. Instead, you've got a couple of avenues to explore.
You can opt to take JEE Mains. The university accepts JEE scores and Rankings.
If you are not interested in JEE, PRIST has its Entrance Exam which is PEE.
In any condition any of the above tests are necessary. Without entrance, you cannot join B.Tech.

The top recruiters of a particular specialisation of B.Tech are not mentioned by the institute, but if we talk about the top recruiters on an overall basis, the top recruiters are Cognizant, Wipro, IBM, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft etc. These recruiters offer very good placement packages along with a good future growth to the students. So in order to get placed in these companies, students need to work upon thier skills and academics. Many other good companies are also the recruiters at this University.

You can get admission without JEE-Mains, however, then you may need to take HSTES to get into this college. You can not get into this college without an entrance exam. However, there may be a possibility of getting a management quota seat, for that you need to inquire from the admission office.
Below are eligibility criteria for B.Tech:
- The qualification required is 10+2 with at least 45% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics if passed in the respective subjects.
- You have to take JEE main or HSTES entrance exam with reasonable standard to be there in the merit list.
